ABOUT THE ROLE

At W Edinburgh be expected to welcome and assist all guests arriving and departing from SUSHISAMBA.

Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotelu2019s operation and beyond. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, a people-person and passionate!

As SUSHISAMBA Barback, key aspects of your role will include:

Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies
Transport supplies to bar set-up areas
Wash glassware
Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
Process all payment methods
Secure liquors, beers, wine, coolers, cabinets and storage areas

Our ideal SUSHISAMBA Barback is someone who has:

Previous experience working in high-end, high-volume restaurants and/or bars
Excellent communication skills
A fire in your belly for true hospitality is a must
Confidence interacting with guests
Multi-tasking skills
A positive mindset
A genuine passion for working in hospitality
