About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Joinery Drafter with cabinet making experience to join a well-established and busy joinery team in Greenacre.

This is a full-time drafting position only, however the client requires someone who has previous hands‑on cabinet making or workshop experience so they can confidently understand how joinery is constructed, assembled and manufactured.

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate, build‑ready shop drawings using AutoCAD and TopSolid, working closely with production and workshop teams across high‑end residential and commercial projects.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D / 3D shop drawings using AutoCAD & TopSolid
• Convert architectural drawings into accurate, manufacturable joinery documentation
• Interpret site measurements, sections, elevations and specifications
• Prepare cutting lists, hardware schedules and assembly details
• Liaise with workshop teams to resolve design or construction queries
• Ensure all drawings meet joinery manufacturing standards
• Revise drawings based on client, PM or factory feedback
• Maintain drawing registers and documentation accuracy

Skills & Experience

• Cabinet making or joinery workshop experience is essential
• Previous experience drafting joinery required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; TopSolid not required! Training provided
• Excellent understanding of joinery construction, materials & assembly methods
• Ability to interpret architectural and workshop drawings with accuracy
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability
• Confident communicator able to work closely with production teams
• Full Australian working rights
