The work of a Research Scientist I involves collaborating with experienced scientists to execute bench experiments and gather data. Working in a team environment, this role is primarily focused on research and development projects, assisting in translating research ideas into diagnostic assay products through biomarker discovery, technology evaluation, and assay development.

  • Conduct experimental procedures for molecular diagnostic assay development with an emphasis on enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays and qPCR.  
  • Promote the formulation of reagents. 
  • Analyze results from lab procedures while recording all relevant information.
  • Maintain accurate records following specific product or technology guidelines.
