Looking for a friendly, hard working, energetic dental assistant for a fun pediatric practice! The position would be Monday through Thursday from 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM.

The job of our dental assistant would include:

• Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists
• Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
• Taking and processing X-rays of patients
• Providing preventative dental care such as cleanings, flossing, fluoride, and sealants
• Greeting patients and parents in a positive, bubbly manner
• Providing necessary documentation/charting in patient chart and computer
• Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene
• Creating dental treatment plans based on doctor recommendation

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 1-2 years experience as dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Enjoys working with children
• Experience with Dentrix software
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• High school diploma; graduating from a dental assistant program is preferred

We pride ourselves on the experience our patients have from when they check in to when they check out. The dentists and staff are wonderful! Services we provide include dental exams, cleanings, fluoride, digital x-rays, composite fillings, crowns, extractions, pulpotomies, Silver Diamine Fluoride, ICON treatment, and in-office whitening. We offer nitrous oxide and IV sedations that are scheduled once a month with a mobile pediatric anesthesiologist.
