About the Role
MISC Parramatta is seeking an experienced and highly organised Reception Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of its reception and client service centre. This role requires strong leadership, administrative, and customer service skills to ensure the smooth and professional operation of the centre.
The Reception Centre Manager will be responsible for supervising reception staff, managing front-desk operations, coordinating client services, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures. The role suits an individual who can multitask, work under pressure, and maintain high service standards in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organise, and manage the day-to-day operations of the reception centre
• Supervise, train, and coordinate reception and administrative staff
• Ensure professional and efficient client service at all times
• Develop and implement administrative systems, procedures, and service standards
• Manage client enquiries, appointments, and service workflows
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback where required
• Liaise with management to improve operational efficiency and service delivery
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
• Oversee rostering, attendance, and workflow planning
• Assist management with recruitment activities, including shortlisting and interviewing reception staff
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service improvements professionally
• Ensure the reception centre is maintained in a clean, organised, and welcoming condition
Qualifications and Requirements
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in reception, administration, or centre management
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work weekdays (and weekends if required)

Salary: $75,000 – $78,000
