About the role
We’re seeking world‑class educators to inspire the next generation of Sports Turf Management students at our Ryde Campus.
As a Teacher of Sports Turf Management, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality education and training to students aspiring to excel in the field of sports turf management. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering engaging curriculum content that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
- Facilitating hands‑on learning experiences and practical training sessions to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the industry.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their professional and personal development.
- Collaborating with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure program relevance and currency.
- Participating in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in sports turf management practices and technologies.
- Contributing to the overall academic and administrative functions of the department and TAFE NSW.
About You
To be successful in this role you must:
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post‑qualification experience in industry, gained no longer than five (5) years previously.
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
Highly Regarded
- Current AFQ3 chemical accreditation.
