Main Duties

• Conferring with clients to determine materials and cost of furniture items to be made or repaired
• Renovating old lounges for caravans.
• Securing material, paddings, frames, webbing and packets to be upholstered
• Measuring and cutting fabrics and vinyls.
• Organization of foams to manufacture seating cushions.
• Cutting patterns and designs for selected customer orders.
• Organizing bunk foams and preparation of bunk mattress covers and covers for wall storage pockets.
• May require input for sawing and stitching.
• May remove stains from fabric and cleaning items for handover.

Requirements

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work as a team member
• Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to be able to multi task

Qualifications

Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training / AQF Certificate IV OR at least three years of relevant experience
